Design-5 UNI Added to AM Profiles’ Composite Window Range

AM Profiles has produced a series of new fenestrations so that a Design-5 composite window can be produced to house the Peder Nielson UNI range of hinges. The original Design-5 timber aluminium composite window accommodated the PN Combi hinge range and this window will remain available to customers. However an advantage of the UNI hinge is that it will cope with much greater weights and features a user friendly integrated restrictor on the top swing reversible hinge.

The new Design-5 UNI windows aesthetics remain exactly the same with all the hinge variations of top or side hung projecting ‘casement’ and top or side swing fully reversible. Also a small section can be added into the frame so that a standard friction hinge can be used. The window is therefore even more competitively priced and, with most composite windows coming in from Europe, AM are keen to lock horns with the imported competition.

The composite Design-5 range from AM Profiles now includes Combi or UNI open out window, Tilt and Turn window, open in or out hinged door and sliding folding doors.
