AM Profiles has recently successfully carried out a
security test in accordance with BS 7950 on a timber
aluminium composite curtain wall screen. The test was
performed for AM Profiles by Bodycote Warrington at their
UKAS accredited testing laboratory in Willenhall.
The sample tested incorporated 56mm wide laminated /
engineered pine timber to the inside and aluminium pressure
plates and cappings on the outside. The test was requested
by one of AM Profiles new London based clients. The
architectural team responsible for new build project have
specified high security performance to all the glazing
products.

performance very serious and we are proud to be at the
cutting edge of composite design. We have a rigorous
testing regime and products are regularly improved and then
tested in the three key areas, namely water and air
ingress, security and thermal performance.’
