AM Profiles Product Awards

The architectural teams involved in the refurbishment of Tom Collins House, an iconic building in Newcastle, and the Old Brewery, a beautifully building in Bristol, have been nominated in the CAB Aluminium in Renovation awards. Both these schemes feature AM Profiles’ innovative window system design.

AM Profiles provided their AM Series 24 Polyamide Thermaswing Window system for the City Design Architects’ project known as Tom Collins House. The Series 24 Polyamide window features:-
  • Excellent security – BS7950 & Secured-by-Design accredited
  • A range of open out sash/casement styles on fully reversible hardware for easy cleaning and/or on 17mm friction hinges
  • High performance weather rating
  • Superior thermal performance using polyamide sections to divide the aluminium
  • Inside or outside glazing

Horth Architects planned the renovation work at the Old Brewery and featured AM Profiles Design-5 timber aluminium clad windows set into AM’s timber aluminium composite curtain wall as one of the main features of the buildings new glazing.
