Anodised Finishes for Aluminium

The most common finish for anodised aluminium is 'clear anodised' which is sometimes known as 'silver anodised'. Anodising is not an applied finish but a change in the surface of the aluminium formed by accelerated oxidisation, as a result the finish is extremely hard wearing.

A limited range of colours is available usually in various shades of 'bronze' and a black. More recently various shades of grey have become available.
